Plot Summary:

(From the "Horrific Horror Films" website) If BAD NIGHT was attacked for its shocking content, Alex Reynolds' starring role follow-up, MIDNIGHT SHOW was just plain bad. In fact, it had a very similar plot but less original twists and deaths. 17 year old Mary (Reynolds) tries to burn her house down after her parents get a divorce, so she is shipped off to a convent. One night, a deaf lesbian nun named Millicent seemingly stabs Mary's best friend to death. The nuns exact brutal vengeance on the actually innocent Millicent and then try to cover up their mistake by sending any witnesses including Mary into a white slavery midnight peep show with the real killer among them. After the amazing first 30 minutes, the movie quickly descends into a "women in prison" type setting where not much happens and not even Alex Reynolds in a nude mud wrestling scene can save this trite exploitation film. No shocking kitten death, but a dog does die off screen after feasting on Millicent's poisoned corpse..
