Season 4

11/09/08:  At least one major cast member makes his or her last appearance in Episode 90.  

11/09/08:  Renee will get a storyline this year.  She's been on the backburner for the majority of season four, but once the Suzanne mystery wraps up, she'll get a lot more screentime.

11/02/08:  Episodes 89 & 90 expand upon stories first told back in "American Star". Nathan will make upcoming appearances in flashbacks and in real time.

11/02/08: Jordan's half-brother, Troy Beauchamp will make appearances in upcoming episodes.

11/02/08:  Sierra will return for several guest appearances starting with Episode 89.

10/13/08: A lavish wedding is in the works for November when Stormy and Kelly tie the knot.  It's a big soap opera wedding with surprise revelations and disasterous outcomes.

10/12/08:  Tune in this month for a special Halloween episode.  It will be fun, scary, and very Hollywood.  This episode will take a break from the heavy storylines currenly playing out, just in time for several game-changing events in November.  Stay tuned for more information!

9/27/08: Expect more edge-of-your-seat drama this November when the third annual Filmmaker Awards arrive.  As in years past with the murder of Will Thomerson and the hostage situation on the roof of the Roosevelt, another big event is planned for this year.  What to expect this go-around with this annual event?  A turning point in several major storylines, surprise denouments, and a disaster of epic proportions.  Stay tuned for more info.

9/21/08: Readers may not have seen the last of Roz Taylor.  She's the character people love to hate, so naturally we want to bring more of her to the story.  Look for Roz to make a dramatic re-emergence later this season.

09/16/08:  Kelly's ex appears in episodes 82 & 83 as a special guest star.  Ke Liu is a cocky surfer from Honolulu who comes from a rich family and has specific intentions when it comes to his old flame.  Watch for fists to fly between this newcomer and resident bad boy Stormy Blackthorne.

06/08/08:  Sierra will be headed back to school in New York City after her guest appearances in episodes 80 & 81.  She'll show up a few more times in season 4 in an upcoming storyline with Renee, with tentative plans to return permanently in season 5.

06/08/08:  Roz Taylor will be departing the cast with episode 82.  She may return later on in the season but for now her storyline is over.  

04/14/08:  A significant death will happen by the middle part of the season.

04/14/08:  The mystery woman from the end of Season 3 returns in Episode 79.

03/10/08:  Next up on the new character induction is a suave, wealthy record producer who will become involved with James and Stormy on a Sunset Studios deal.  But it's Renee, not business, that he's interested in.  

03/10/08:  We hereby promise one Scooby-Doo inspired twist that will occur by the end of the season.

03/10/08:  We haven't seen the last of Jonas Lamont.  He'll be returning soon in more flashbacks.

02/13/08:  With a new season there's always a crop of new faces.  This year, we dive into the world of Hollywood with the help of Frank Dunning, a mysterious director with more than the summer blockbuster on his mind; Scott Kelly, an action film star who has secret fetishes that the papparazi would kill for a scoop on; and Kelly Kahoano, a vixenish Hollywood wannabe with stars and dollar signs in her eyes.

02/13/08:  Episode 76 will begin with the rooftop hostage crisis from last season. 

01/09/07:  Name change!  The character first mentioned in episode 72, Simone, although yet to grace the pages of the series, has undergone a name change.  We felt her character was more suited to be a Kelly than a Simone.  The few references to her in 72 and 74 have been changed.  This is the only time we've ever considered re-writing something that's already been posted, so it's kind of a monumental experience.  The reasoning behind this mysterious happening?  Just because! The character, by the way, has been cast as Dutch-Hawaiian actress Kristin Kreuk.  Her first appearance will be in the season four premiere

12/16/07:  Season four is scheduled to go into production in early 2008.  What can you expect?  "More movies, more theatre, more on-set shenanegans.  The stories will be centered heavily on Hollywood.  Several new characters will appear in the first few episodes, including a suave, wealthy record producer, a naive manipulator who wants to break into the business, and yes, that mystery woman who first appeared in the last episode of season three."   A major stunt episode will air by about the eighth episode, with nothing remaining the same afterwards.  It's going to be huge, epic, and will change everything.  

11/16/07:  Casting is underway for a new character:  female, of Hawaiian descent, early twenties, beautiful and naive.

11/16/07:  Rumor has it the big mystery in season 4 will involve Jordan. We will see flashbacks of him when Benji was 5 and Heather was 12.

10/16/07:  Season 4 is slated to begin in early March, following a three month hiatus beginning mid-December.
