Birthplace:

Bio:
Born
Mary Ann McCormack, Alex Reynolds has starred in a multitude
of films since the late 1970's, over half of which
were directed by Nathan Blackthorne and Jonas Lamont,
the actresses preferred directors in early stages
of her career. Numerous films also co-starred
Blackthorne, and rumors of a romantic link flooded
the tabloids. Unpublished reports of
"personality conflicts" between Reynolds
and Blackthorne caused the disillusion of any future
pairings after 1984. In 1982, Reynolds wed
Nathan Blackthorne's nephew, James Blackthorne,
who subsequently branded his own production company
Sunset Studios, in which every subsequent
film Reynolds starred in was produced by. Lamont,
who died in 1982, was the husband of legendary actress
Lola Lamont, who shared screen time with a reportedly
"diva-like" Reynolds in the 1981 blockbuster
"The Briar Patch". Lackluster box
office performance and lukewarm reviews for Reynolds'
latest film, "Sandman", plus a much publicized
divorce from James Blackthorne, sent Reynolds into
an unofficial sabatical from the big screen. The actress wed Blackthornes' business rival,
producer Jordan Rydell, CEO of Rydell Productions.
After a brief marriage, the two divorced amidst
a smattering of tabloid rumors, mostly speculating that
Rydell was jealous of a new business venture Reynolds
entered into with her first husband. A second
marriage Rydell ended shortly after filming wrapped
for Angel
Assassin 2
after rumors circulated about an on-set romance between
her and co-star Scott Kelly, who was later attacked
in an anonymous beating that Rydell was momentarily
suspected in. Recently began work as the sixth
actress to portray Faye Summers in the classic daytime
soap The
Young at Heart.
Coincidentally, Rydell's first wife, Suzanne
Rogers, was
the second actress to portray the character in the late
seventies.
